Soil and Rock testing

GETS materials laboratory carry out tests on soil, rock and concrete according to British Standards or client’s specific requirements for selected parameters (e.g. ASTM).

The tests focus on classification, strength, compressibility and compaction properties and include: Moisture Content, Atterberg Limits, Linear Shrinkage, Particle Density (Gas Jar), Particle Size Distribution, Hydrometer, Bulk Density, Standard and Modified Proctor, CBR, Oedometer, UCS, UU and CU triaxial, Organic Matter content, Sulphate content, Carbonate content, Chloride content, TDS and pH value.
